Taylor’s Falls House

The Taylors Falls home is in a rural residential neighborhood in Chisago County outside of Taylors Falls. Locust Lane, the road in front of the home has a posted speed limit of 30 MPH. The residence is approximately ¼ mile from Highway 95. The home is licensed for 5 residents. The home is a split-level entry with staircase leading to the main level and basement. 

Typically both men and women of all ages live at the Taylor’s Fall House. Primary language spoken is english along with American Sign Language. All residents living in the home are ambulatory and are mostly independent in their ADLs. All individuals receive assistance as needed with meal planning and preparation, shopping, arranging transportation, managing household tasks, medications and medical appointments, communication and managing their finances.
Supported employment services / vocational programs in the area include Chisago Lakes Achievement Center and Rise.

Residents enjoy a variety of home activities including art and craft projects, board and card games, playing and watching sports, outdoor activities such as yard work, gardening, bonfires and walks in the neighborhood, and community activities such as shopping, going out to eat, church, visiting farms, the zoo and other wildlife habitats, and other recreational, seasonal and holiday events.
